During the summer months, I find my hair looks amazing after spending a day at the beach. The salt water and ocean breeze create loose, messy curls that reminds me of a carefree time.
When winter rolls around and the days at the beach are nonexistent (even in Florida), I have the perfect cure for the cold weather blahs.
Use a homemade Sea Salt Spray to recreate the beach wavy hair of summer.
You will need a spray bottle, a cup (8 oz.) of warm water, a teaspoon of Sea Salt, 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil and a dab of clear hair gel.
Add the warm water to your spray bottle. Next, add the teaspoon of Sea Salt, then the 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil. Now add just a dab of clear hair gel. This will help keep the curls in place. Add the top to your spray bottle and shake well.
Spray on dry or damp hair and scrunch to create beachy waves.
