It's your wedding day...Relax!

It's your wedding day, you wake up, grab a mimosa, sit back and relax...Wait, what? Relax... on your wedding day? Who ever heard of such a thing?

Imagine having your very own makeup artist on site to pamper you like a celebrity. That's right, no need to stress out as you drive in traffic to a noisy salon or crowded makeup counter, rushing to get back and put on your wedding dress before the big walk down the aisle. Your makeup artist is here with you, experienced and prepared to bring out your inner Diva! Complete with a full makeup kit, everything from lashes to sealer, I will be on hand to make you a blushing bride!

Are you worried about successfully creating a flawless wedding day look by doing your own makeup? Whether you are not a typical makeup wearer or you feel you lack the required product knowledge to achieve the desired results, why not consider hiring a bridal makeup artist to offer expertise and reduce wedding day stress?

Professionally trained in Philadelphia, PA; Miami and Orlando, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL and other locations nationwide, I am experienced in makeup artistry for all mediums; film, commercial, theater, music videos, print photography, HD [high definition]; and specializing in airbrush makeup and tattoo cover up. I continually enhance my makeup skills through seminars, training and hands-on workshops, learning the the latest trends, newest techniques and current products.

Years of first-hand, working knowledge and an understanding that wind, rain, heat, sweat, tears, perspiration and hours of wear can have a huge, overall effect on makeup, particularly bridal makeup, is what gives me the upper edge on a makeup application. Makeup takes on a different appearance under natural vs. artificial lighting and knowing how to create a flawless canvass, accentuating your features through contouring and highlighting and enhancing your individual beauty is a talent earned through years of on the job experience.

This is your chance to shine. Your wedding isn't a dress rehearsal and there's no do-over. Hire a professional make-up artist to make your one of a kind day, one to remember!

Make Up for the DIY (Do It Yourself) Bride

If you're a "Do It Yourself" kind of girl, I may venture to guess that your wedding is no exception. Whether for financial reasons or just the hesitation of letting go, you may decide to take wedding day beauty into your own hands. Here is where I can help. Let me give you a few insights into creating a picture perfect bridal photo. There's nothing wrong with doing it yourself, if you're well-informed and excellent at applying your own makeup. I've been doing makeup for well over 20 years and even still I would never attempt to do my own makeup for my wedding day. But to those who are more adventurous, I will provide you with a few important tips. Flawless makeup begins with flawless skin. Get routine facials, wear sunscreen, avoid harmful tanning, drink lots of water, watch what you eat and take care of your skin. We can always make our skin darker with bronzers and spray-on tans but once you damage your skin with UV rays, there's no way i...

Red Apple Lipstick

I recently received the cutest makeup package in the mail. It was from Red Apple Lipstick . The items were wrapped in “apple” green tissue paper and placed inside a small burlap-style drawstring pouch. The products included full-size versions of a lipstick, lip gloss, lip liner pencil and a sample lipstick with disposable lip brush. I grabbed the lip pencil first. This was the R-evolution lip liner and the color was Nude. Just as the name implies, it’s the perfect shade to create a neutral lip. The pencil went on creamy, without tugging or stretching the lips and the color stayed true to form. With a matte finish, it creates the perfect daytime finish. Next, was the full-size lipstick in New York, a brown based nude with orange undertones that blended superbly with the Nude pencil. I really liked the consistency of the lipstick and the smooth results it provided. It has no shimmer and is an ideal choice for the workplace. It’s a fantastic color option for day or night. The lip gloss wa...

Let it glow, let it glow, let it glow....

As temperatures begin to drop, humidity lowers and the winds pick up, your skin can become dry and irritated. You need to take care of your skin from head to toe. Here are a few tips to Winterize your skin. Start by switching your facial cleanser to one that is designed for sensitive skin. You want to avoid over exfoliating as it can cause your skin to become dry, red and flaky. Hot showers and baths will open the pores causing moisture in the skin to evaporate. Opt for luke warm water instead. When you dry off, use patting motions rather than rubbing the towel across your skin. Apply a moisturizing lotion immediately to help seal in the moisture and keep your skin soft and supple. To perk up dry, tired skin, use a hydrating facial mask infused with vitamins. This will help restore the natural glow of the skin. Feed your skin with antioxidants and Omega-3 fats. Choose foods with nutrients that will help your skin retain its natural oils. Be sure you are getting the...
