Get that Summertime Glow - Homemade Bronzer

HOMEMADE BRONZER

As we're heading into the winter months, I'm sure many of you want to bring back that warm, sun-kissed glow of summer. ☀️

Bronzer is just the thing to add that little touch of summertime to your face. There are oodles of bronzers available, but a while back, I found this amazing recipe online for a Do It Yourself Homemade Bronzer.

You will need:
•Cocoa Powder
•Cornstarch
•Ground Cinnamon •Ground Nutmeg
•Container that can be sealed.

First begin by mixing all the ingredients together. The Cocoa Powder will deepen the color and Cinnamon provides a nice glow.

Try adding just a little of each until you get the shade you want.

Once you have the color mixed just right, add it all to the container.

That's it!! Super easy, super natural and super amazing!

Let it glow, let it glow, let it glow....

As temperatures begin to drop, humidity lowers and the winds pick up, your skin can become dry and irritated. You need to take care of your skin from head to toe. Here are a few tips to Winterize your skin. Start by switching your facial cleanser to one that is designed for sensitive skin. You want to avoid over exfoliating as it can cause your skin to become dry, red and flaky. Hot showers and baths will open the pores causing moisture in the skin to evaporate. Opt for luke warm water instead. When you dry off, use patting motions rather than rubbing the towel across your skin. Apply a moisturizing lotion immediately to help seal in the moisture and keep your skin soft and supple. To perk up dry, tired skin, use a hydrating facial mask infused with vitamins. This will help restore the natural glow of the skin. Feed your skin with antioxidants and Omega-3 fats. Choose foods with nutrients that will help your skin retain its natural oils. Be sure you are getting the...

Saturday is Saint Patrick's Day!!

Break out the greens ladies! St Patrick's Day is heading this way. Green can appear prominent, so limit the amount of additional color on your face. A tinted moisturizer will look better than a full face bronzer.   Selecting a shadow on the bluer side of green will work great for brown eyes. Hazel colored eyes should choose a yellow-based green. If you have green eyes, a contrasting green color will accent your eyes rather than camouflage them. Choose dark olive shadows for light green eyes and select something in the jade range for deeper green eyes.   Make Up For Ever's Aqua Cream Eyeliner - Emerald Green Deep blue eyes will work perfectly with a dark green shade while lighter blue eyes should focus on mossy green shadows. Accent green eye shadows with creams and ivory or for a fun night on the town, blend in a touch of gold shimmer.
