Welcome to September!

Well, it's Thursday, the First day of September and time to get back in the swing of things after a wonderful summer. This Friday, I get a chance to meet bride Casey who will be stopping by the studio for her makeup trial. Casey's wedding will be September 10th, 2011; that's right 9-10-11!

Casey was referred to me by the ever-fab photographer Bill Vodek. I'm looking forward to meeting Casey and having the opportunity to provide makeup services for her and her three teenage daughters. Here are some images from Casey's engagement shoot. What a good looking family!!

Red Apple Lipstick

I recently received the cutest makeup package in the mail. It was from Red Apple Lipstick . The items were wrapped in “apple” green tissue paper and placed inside a small burlap-style drawstring pouch. The products included full-size versions of a lipstick, lip gloss, lip liner pencil and a sample lipstick with disposable lip brush. I grabbed the lip pencil first. This was the R-evolution lip liner and the color was Nude. Just as the name implies, it’s the perfect shade to create a neutral lip. The pencil went on creamy, without tugging or stretching the lips and the color stayed true to form. With a matte finish, it creates the perfect daytime finish.
