Love letters......

I have the most beautiful clients in the world!!! Check out these two heart warming reviews from two stunning young brides...

Georgia Bride: Hollie
"I live in the Tallahassee, FL area and I had a hard time finding an airbrush make-up artist that looked reliable and had good reviews for my November 3rd wedding. I started looking in the surrounding areas and found Stephanie on the internet. I called her and left a message and she called me back within the hour. She was always very professional and timely anytime I emailed her. I set up a trial in her studio for me and my mom. She was punctual and did a great job on our makeup trial. She was very attentive during the trial of the look we were trying to achieve and the makeup looked great. We looked as good at 10PM as we did at 10AM that morning. After a successful trial, I scheduled Stephanie for my wedding. We kept in touch until the wedding day and she was always very responsive. She had to drive from her studio to Cairo, GA on my wedding day (3 hours). Once again, she was on-time. We had 10 girls getting full-makeup done and so Stephanie brought an assistant. Everyone's makeup looked great, she met our timeline on the wedding day, and the makeup lasted all night. We received a lot of compliments. I would highly recommend Stephanie for your special occasion or any occasion. She is trustworthy, responsive, and the makeup looks amazing. She listens carefully to give you the exact look you want. Having someone I would trust on my special day to make me and my bridesmaids beautiful made a huge difference. Thank you Stephanie!"

Florida Bride: Abby
"First off, Stephanie is such a doll. She is so sweet and has a great personality. She did my whole bridal party and my mom and their make up was perfect! Every girl said they absolutely loved their make up. My make up couldn't have been more perfect. I am super picky when it comes to make up and her airbrush make up made me look flawless. I can't thank her enough for making me absolutely beautiful in the greatest day of my life!!!!!!"

Make Up for the DIY (Do It Yourself) Bride

If you're a "Do It Yourself" kind of girl, I may venture to guess that your wedding is no exception. Whether for financial reasons or just the hesitation of letting go, you may decide to take wedding day beauty into your own hands. Here is where I can help. Let me give you a few insights into creating a picture perfect bridal photo. There's nothing wrong with doing it yourself, if you're well-informed and excellent at applying your own makeup. I've been doing makeup for well over 20 years and even still I would never attempt to do my own makeup for my wedding day. But to those who are more adventurous, I will provide you with a few important tips. Flawless makeup begins with flawless skin. Get routine facials, wear sunscreen, avoid harmful tanning, drink lots of water, watch what you eat and take care of your skin. We can always make our skin darker with bronzers and spray-on tans but once you damage your skin with UV rays, there's no way i...

Red Apple Lipstick

I recently received the cutest makeup package in the mail. It was from Red Apple Lipstick . The items were wrapped in “apple” green tissue paper and placed inside a small burlap-style drawstring pouch. The products included full-size versions of a lipstick, lip gloss, lip liner pencil and a sample lipstick with disposable lip brush. I grabbed the lip pencil first. This was the R-evolution lip liner and the color was Nude. Just as the name implies, it’s the perfect shade to create a neutral lip. The pencil went on creamy, without tugging or stretching the lips and the color stayed true to form. With a matte finish, it creates the perfect daytime finish. Next, was the full-size lipstick in New York, a brown based nude with orange undertones that blended superbly with the Nude pencil. I really liked the consistency of the lipstick and the smooth results it provided. It has no shimmer and is an ideal choice for the workplace. It’s a fantastic color option for day or night. The lip gloss wa...

Let it glow, let it glow, let it glow....

As temperatures begin to drop, humidity lowers and the winds pick up, your skin can become dry and irritated. You need to take care of your skin from head to toe. Here are a few tips to Winterize your skin. Start by switching your facial cleanser to one that is designed for sensitive skin. You want to avoid over exfoliating as it can cause your skin to become dry, red and flaky. Hot showers and baths will open the pores causing moisture in the skin to evaporate. Opt for luke warm water instead. When you dry off, use patting motions rather than rubbing the towel across your skin. Apply a moisturizing lotion immediately to help seal in the moisture and keep your skin soft and supple. To perk up dry, tired skin, use a hydrating facial mask infused with vitamins. This will help restore the natural glow of the skin. Feed your skin with antioxidants and Omega-3 fats. Choose foods with nutrients that will help your skin retain its natural oils. Be sure you are getting the...
