Brides on a Budget

With today's economy in such a turmoil, brides are looking for ways to save as much as possible on their wedding expenses.

Here are some of my makeup options for the austere Bride:
*Please note all listed items apply to services received in the makeup studio only.  If on location makeup services are requested, they will require a minimum dollar amount depending upon location.

  • Bette Davis Eyes - If you want your groom to look deep into your eyes during the ceremony, then opt for this service. Your eyes will be the primary focus and we'll create a look, whether sultry or demure, that will dazzle and inspire him to never take his eyes off of you! Includes eye shadow base and primer, eye shadow colors, mascara, brow shaping/color and false eyelashes if desired.  ~ $45

  • Pucker Up - Pouty lips aside, we'll make your pucker delightfully delectable & pleasantly kissable. Heads up, your first kiss may last well into the reception. Includes lip prep, waterproof liner, lip color/stain, gloss & a color lock sealant.  ~ $35

  • Blushing Bride - Cheeky it's not. How can a girl go wrong with picture perfect, flawless skin? This service is more than the basics of a makeup application. You'll be primed and prepped, then I'll add a color-matched foundation ideal for your skin tone. You get all the extras of highlighting and contouring to accent your gorgeous features plus a rosy glow of blush that will make the groom swoon with delight. Your look is completed with a layer of waterproof sealer to make it last throughout the day and night.  ~ $55

The pencil went on creamy, without tugging or stretching the lips and the color stayed true to form. With a matte finish, it creates the perfect daytime finish. Next, was the full-size lipstick in New York, a brown based nude with orange undertones that blended superbly with the Nude pencil. I really liked the consistency of the lipstick and the smooth results it provided. It has no shimmer and is an ideal choice for the workplace. It’s a fantastic color option for day or night.
