Holiday Gift Idea ~ Homemade Rose Water

Rose water is a great refreshing toner. Soothing and it smells delightful. Here is an easy to DIY (Do it yourself) project to make your own Rose Water. Perfect for a Holiday gift.

You will need:
  • Fresh organic rose petals - the fresher the better
  • Distilled Water
  • Cooking pot with lid
  • Metal mixing bowl or other heat safe bowl that fits inside the cooking pot
  • Jar or container for finished rose water

Place your rose petals in the pot
Add distilled water using just enough to cover the petals.
Place the metal bowl on top of the petals then replace the pot lid.
Place the lid on the pot and simmer.
Once the petals have lost their color, you can drain the liquid into your container or jar.
