A beautiful day for a wedding!

Saturday, March 22nd was absolutely gorgeous and so was my bride of the day, Kelly!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kelly in 2009 at an amazing event, Images for a Cure

Five years later, I had the honor of being the makeup artist for her wedding. It was such a pleasure to be able to provide services for the bride, her mother and her bridesmaids. I can't wait to see the photos of these beautiful ladies.

Until then, here is a sneak peak at the lovely bride.

And here's an image of Kelly from 2009! Isn't she stunning?

Red Apple Lipstick

I recently received the cutest makeup package in the mail. It was from Red Apple Lipstick . The items were wrapped in “apple” green tissue paper and placed inside a small burlap-style drawstring pouch. I really liked the consistency of the lipstick and the smooth results it provided. It has no shimmer and is an ideal choice for the workplace. It’s a fantastic color option for day or night. The lip gloss wa...

Summer Beauty Makeup

As the warm weather sets in, I tend to minimize my daily makeup application to something quick, light and oh so airy-feeling.  My absolute must-have Summertime product is a Lip & Cheek Stain.   Available in a multitude of colors, lip/check stains can be found in numerous cosmetic brands.  Some of my favorites:     Sephora's Lush Flush in Pinot , a ripe cherry color. It's fabulous gel-based formula is easy to apply and blend allowing buildable coverage to achieve a deeper level of intensity.  The stain mimics a flushed look on both lips and cheeks and really gives an all over glow to my face.  Sephora's Lush Flush comes in a tube complete with an applicator wand.  It's the perfect size to toss in a purse and fits easily into your pocket.   BECCA's Beach Tint is a beautifully blendable crème stain for cheeks and lips that suit all s...
